IMPORTANT:
NOT ALL STATES REQUIRE LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR
FORMAL TRAINING
One
thing to keep in mind, is that not all states require
formal training to operate as a bounty hunter. For
the states that don't, your potential employer "bail
bond company" will petition your services. That's it.
States Where Bounty Hunting Is Allowed
States Where Bounty Hunting Is Banned
However, there are states that do require licensure &
training, in which our step-by-step employment guide will prove to be a vital
resource when looking to meet state licensing or training requirements.
There are literally thousands of schools, training programs &
courses you can enroll in to become a certified bounty hunter online
and at one-on-one training facilities....
Unfortunately, nearly all of them require you to pay several hundred
to several thousand dollars in unnecessary fees to complete their
course, which frankly we find ridiculous since the training &
certification process can be done mostly for FREE through a Bail
Bond Company.
THE
BENEFITS FOR WORKING FOR A BAIL BOND COMPANY
Instead of paying outrageous fees through a Bounty Hunter Training
Program, Online Course or School, why not just offer your services
for free at a Bail Bond Company. In turn, in most cases, upon
request, the bail bond company will pay for your training or license
if required by the state in which you're working out of.
Our Step-By-Step Bounty Hunter Employment Guide was designed to trim
down the certification process to only its bare essentials, and
eliminate time consuming courses by providing a comprehensive bounty
hunter formula that actually helps you hit the streets and find
fugitives.
But, Bounty Hunter Schools & Online Courses will have you thinking
differently, stating that many hours of training & exams are needed.
The fact is, each state is different. What our research team
did was analyze each state at the Department of Insurance &
Licensing Divisions, where
bail enforcement licenses are issued, and find out what the
rules are for each state. We did the legwork to empower
aspiring bounty hunters with the knowledge needed to succeed quickly
in the industry and make thousands of dollars per capture.
As seasoned professionals, we can tell you first hand that 90% of what
schools & training programs say you need are simply misleading their
clients to justify their fee structure.
Our industry contacts and research team have come together to
contribute their industry knowledge solely to benefit customers who
purchase our guide, and become a bounty hunter in the shortest
amount of time using our time-tested simple, yet effective formula.
Our guide takes you step-by-step, teaching you what you ABSOLUTELY
need to know about the business, including the tests you need to
take, and where to go to find work when licensed & state certified.
That's right, no filler, only the essentials.
There is absolutely no other Employment Guide on the web as
efficient as ours. We have dedicated hundreds of hours into
the creation & concept of this incredible eBook, and can assure you
that this is all you need to become a bounty hunter.

hunter". As you establish your business and prove yourself,
you will then be rewarded larger contracts for more riskier
assignments. Those rewards can reach up to $15,000 in
immediate payout for wanted fugitives by Police Departments and
Federal Agencies.
Just be tracking down & apprehending one fugitive a month, could
bring in several thousand dollars in income.
Also, based on national industry statistics, over 80% of bail
recovery agents "bounty hunter's" that have been in business for
more than 2 years have reported earning a minimum of $100,000 a
year.
The fact is, "depending on the assignments you choose", multiplied by the number
of cases, hundreds of thousands of dollars can be made annually.
The rate of annual pay can be attributed to the fact that bounty
hunters are always in high demand, as bail enforcement operations
often close their doors after they have made their
money in the business.
This is the kind of business where dreams of financial independence
can become reality, if one is strong-willed enough.

In the United States, bounty hunters have varying levels of authority
in regards to their targets, depending on the states they operate
in.
The main objective of a bounty hunter is to employ investigative
techniques to apprehend a fugitive who has jumped bail.
There are several ways to track down an individual, all of which are
described in our A-Z eBook on how to become a bounty hunter.
• determining a person's true identity
• determining an individual's personal background
• determining a person's current employment
• determining someone's personal and professional reputation
• determining a person's bank balances, debt level and financial
background
• determining a person's unlisted telephone number
Bounty Hunting and Skip Tracing are closely related skills. The
Bounty Hunter's principal motivator is the reward for a successful
hunt while the Skip Tracer's reward is the pre-determined fee he
earns.
In nearly every Bounty Hunt, Skip Tracing plays a major role. After
all, you don't earn your reward money until you have returned your
"target" and you can't return your target until you have found
him/her and taken over custody.
So it is that nearly every successful Bounty Hunt requires effective
use of Skip Tracing techniques. For this reason, our employed guide
& state/city sponsored training courses cover this area.
Some of the investigative techniques employed by bounty hunters are,
but not limited to:
Surveillance, Skip Tracing, Negotiating, Interviewing &
Deception, Apprehension Techniques, Marketing, Networking, Wanted Posters, Mobile Investigative
Centers, Credit Files, Background Searches On and Offline, PreTexting, Tailing Methods, Real Time & Historical Telephone
History, Fugitive Affiliate Follow-Up Tactics, plus so much more...
What is Skip Tracing:
Skiptracing is the use of
electronic databases to track down people. Key users of skiptracing
are debt collection agencies seeking debtors who have skipped out.
Bounty hunters and private investigators also make use of
skiptracing. The growth of the Internet has made available many
online resources for skiptracing which raise privacy issues.
STATE-BY-STATE LISTING WHERE BOUNTY HUNTING IS ALLOWED
IN RESPECT TO U.S. BAIL
ENFORCEMENT:
In some states, bounty hunters do not undergo any formal training,
and are generally unlicensed, only requiring sanction from a bail
bondsman to operate. In other states, however, hunters are held to
varying standards of training and licensure. In California, bounty
hunters must undergo a background check and complete various courses
that satisfy the penal code 1299 requirements.
In most states they are prohibited from carrying firearms without
proper permits, but are able to possess stun guns and non-lethal law
enforcement tools. However, Louisiana requires bounty hunters to wear
clothing identifying them as such.
In Kentucky, bounty hunting is generally not allowed because the
state does not have a system of bail bondsmen, and releases bailed
suspects on their own recognizance, thus there is no bondsman with
the right to apprehend the fugitive. Generally, only fugitives who
have fled bail on federal charges from another state where bounty
hunting is legal are allowed to be hunted in Kentucky.
In Texas, every bounty hunter is required to be a peace officer,
Level III (armed) security officer, or a private investigator.
